    Hi,

    I have updated to Connections: 0.7.9.3.
    I use Tile Plus 3.0.1
    I use WordPress 3.5.1.

    After plugin update to 0.7.9.3. all my ‘images’ for my directory have been expanded with no aspect ratio. I usually have ‘Fill, maintain aspect ratio’ which has been working fine for me for so long. It was working for fine before the update.

    If i look at the image in the Connections:’Manage’ area, the images are ‘Fill, maintain aspect ratio’ and look fine.

    The problem is when the directory is published on the internet.

    Second question: Why are some photo’s linked to a website and others not?

    Tile and Tile Plus do not use the images settings in the admin. At one time they did but because of the design of these templates they required specific settings so they would not break. So, both of these template force settings that are required to make sure the design does not break. An update to Connections would not change this functionality. Did you update Tile Plus from an older version too?

    I suggest adjusting the template image settings to better accommodate your landscape images and/or preprocess your images before you upload so you can achieve your desire cropping.

    To adjust the templates image setting you want to use the image_width and image_height shortcode settings. Something like so:

    [connections image_width=130 image_height=100]

    The reason some are link and some are not because when a link was entered for an entry the “Assign link to image.” option was checked.

    Hi,
    I did not update the tiles template. I am using Tile Plus 3.0.1.
    I just updated the connections plugin.
    As you can see from the screen shots the admin panel shows the image perfectly cropped.The system use to use the image settings, but i do not know why this has changed. The solution you provide using the image shortcode does not help my existing images. I cannot re-upload images for all my directory entries. The connections pro was working beautifully before this update with images uploaded and using the rules set in image settings. What can i do to get the aspect ratio back?

    Hi Steven,
    Setting image size shortcode does not fix my aspect ratio. I do not require cropping. I require the aspect ratio i had before the plugin update.
    I am a bit lost now because i have built up a directory based on images uploaded and aspect ratio used.

    The actual logic hasn’t changed since about March, roughly the same time Tile Plus 3 was released … do you happen to know which version of Connections you updated from? If you do, that will definitely help.

    If you can can provide me with a temp admin account, I can make a minor change to the template that will force a scale without the crop.
