I have recently purchased tile plus template, In details preview is not showing the address details and custom text field etc.07/16/2015 at 8:46 pm #340243
This sounds like the correct behavior… does it match the demohttp://connections-pro.com/demo/template/tile-plus/)?
If you want more info to display on the single entry view, you can use an a different template. Here’s how…
Go to the Connections : Templates admin page.
Click the Individual template type link, upper left corner of the page.
Activate the Bio Entry Card template.
Do the same for the Organization template type.
Now goto the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab.
Enable the Single Entry template option.
Now all the details will be displayed when viewing a single entry.
Hope that helps!09/30/2015 at 3:30 pm #34883509/30/2015 at 4:29 pm #348845
Did you do the suggestion in my last reply? Can you please double check it if you did?10/01/2015 at 1:55 am #34894010/01/2015 at 9:27 am #349013
Oh, well, I see… the default entry card template does not support shortcodes that is why they have no effect when you view the single entry. The only way to change those strings in the default entry card template is to use the Say What? plugin. Here’s a link to a QuickTip that explains how to use it.
As for the Google Map on the single entry, the default entry card template does not support this either. If you need that, then you need to use the Tile Plus template to be used on the single entry view which means you would have to disable the the Single Entry template option.
The Tile Plus template is going to be updated next week to use the new Template Customizer… this should make it far easier to configure the way you want it to be setup because all the settings will be done with an interactive point and click interface rather than having to use complex shortcodes. If you are running Connections 8.4 or newer you can check this out now as the default entry card template already supports the Template Customizer.
Hope that helps!10/01/2015 at 10:34 am #349053
Thanks for the quick response. I will wait for the next update. In say what plugin, what is the text domain name? connections or cnt_tile_plus?. This also not working for me.10/01/2015 at 10:48 am #349054
The text domain is
connections. To change the cell phone string, the original string is
Cell Phone. To change the home fax, the original string is
Home Fax.10/02/2015 at 7:25 am #34921610/02/2015 at 9:58 am #349217
The strings you see in the drop down when adding them to an entry are the exact strings…
