No, you don’t want to remove the whole wp_options table, just the option_name “connections_options” row. Removing the entire table will be very bad.

Run the query in phpMyAdmin:
SELECT * FROM `wp_options` WHERE option_name LIKE 'connections%'
Of course you’ll have to change the “wp_” to match your table prefix for this query to work.

That’s good, that mean the version info has not be saved.
You have the previous version of Connections installed, correct?
Did you do the import?
If you didn’t, do it now.
Now, you should be able to hit the update now for Connections on the Plugins admin page.
After you update, you should be presented with an admin notice requesting that you upgrade the Connections db, click that start button and follow the instructions. Now you should be good to go.

GuestI did and it all updated fine. But if I try to enter or change and entry, I get this error:
