ParticipantHi. I have The Events Calendar (www.tri.be) PRO and Community plugins installed on my site. Unfortunately when I activate Connections, it causes the drop-down menus on that plugin’s pages to always stay open. That is, before any action on the page, the drop-downs are open (see attached screenshots). I can enter text in the drop-down search field and scroll up/down the selectable options, and even choose an option. However, the drop-down will not close.
Any advice on a workaround or fix?
Thanks,
SeanAttachments:

Looks like the Event Calendar is using the Choosen jQuery plugin to enhance the drop downs too … but I don’t see who that could conflict as Connections only loads it on the page where a template requires it. It is not loaded globally across the entire site.
I’ll need a link to the actual page with the issue occurring in order to tell what’s going on. Can that be done?

ParticipantHi Steve,
Thanks so much for the reply. I’m actually working on a local install right now (trying to save $ on hosting until my site is closer to going live). But as soon as I have it up on a host I’ll let you know so you can take a look.
Thanks and have a great weekend,

Can you flush the page cache and then deactivate W3TC? Also, I do no see the anything on the Ad Event page, just the head and footer, not the form.

ParticipantHmm, weird! I’d only been using Firefox thus far and the form is displaying okay with that browser, but you are right, the form is not displaying at all in Chrome or IE. I’ll contact The Events Calendar team to investigate that.
In the meantime, if you have FF, please feel free to view the dropdown issue using that browser, as they are only broken when the Connections plugin is activated…so it might be a separate issue from the one that is effecting the form being displayed in the other browsers?
Thanks again,

ParticipantPS – I deactivated W3TC, although there was nothing to flush as I had only activated the plugin and hadn’t yet set any cache settings.

I just tried Firefox 27 and Opera 12, no go.
