I initially used my license(s) on a GoDaddy Staging site, and eventually pushed the staging site to production. I now want to re-create the staging site. Unfortunately, when I pull the production to staging, the licenses are deactivated, namely for cmap csv import, enh cat, and widget. GoDaddy’s staging site names are not user definable, and are in the format fz#.#f#.myftpupload.com (example). When I try to activate, “License activation limit has been reached.” Is there a way to get the license to work on the staging site? Thanks.
My advice would be to activate the licenses on the instance where you apply plugin updates. The other instance if the site, the addons will continue to function normally – minus the ability to be updated.
I have made an inquiry on the possibility to support GoDaddy staging sites. I’ve not heard back yet.
Hope this helps, let me know.
3Steven, I will do as you suggest. Thank you!
