GuestTrying to use SayWhat as well as template config and str shortcode. For remaining strings not impacted (in messages for example) what are all the other possibilities? I see in the forum that the connections_form is a domain for forms?. What are all the others?
Use care:
After I select a category to search the message says ‘You are searching within category(ies): xxxxx’. I want it to say ‘You are searching within interest(s): xxxxx’Also, if you can point me to info on multi category search that would be helpful.

GuestI noticed that I can use SayWhat with the connections_form domain to change the text for Category but the same approach does not work for other items on the Form like Notes and Messenger IDs. Is it fair to assume that these labels should also be modifiable?

GuestSeems that only Categories on the Form needs the connections_form domain. The other substitutions used just the connections domain. Would still love to see the message ‘You are searching within category(ies): xxxxx’. be modifiable somehow.

When possible I try to use strings that exist in the “core” Connections plugin in the addons such as Form. This is why most of Form can be changed using the
connections
textdomain. I would always suggest first trying with theconnections
textdomain. If you navigate to the WP Plugin Editor admin page and choose the Connections addon to edit, at the top, you’ll find
Text Domain:
followed by the textdomain that you should use in Say What for that addon. Same for any plugin actually :)For the category search string, you need to use this as the original text in Say What:
You are searching within category(ies): %s
The
%s
is where the categories being searched will be inserted by WP.Hope this helps!
