ParticipantHi Stephen,
Almost completed with my current sites setup. Thank you again for all of your support. I had mentioned before about adding in another category section for Insurance Providers that could be linked to the form extension and the Link extension. Basically you pointed me to a GIT repository for Split Categories. I would like to implement this, but I don’t know how to add this the .php file. Do I just add it to my child theme or does it need other dependencies? How can I get that file and install it to work as a second Category (First Category is Medical Specialty and Second Category is Insurance Providers). Can you provide a few instructions on how to get this set up, where to put the php file and how to call the second categories where I need to. Thank you so much!

Click the green Clone or download button and choose the Download ZIP option. Save the download to your desktop.
Navigate to the Add New Plugin WP admin page and click the Upload Plugin button.
Choose the ZIP file that you downloaded to your desktop and then click the Upload Now button.
Activate the plugin.
Finally navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page. You will find the settings under the Advanced tab at the top. Control click on each parent category that you wish to split into their own metabox.
Hope this helps, let me know.
ps.
If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference.

Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab.
Scroll down to the Results List Content Blocks and enable the display of the split categories. There will be one option foreach which were split.
Now scroll down to the Single Entry Content Block and do the same.
Optional, disable the display of the Custom Fields option in both sections.
Save the settings.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantExcellent! ok that displays it, but what do I target for CSS? Attached you will see the SS where the Custom Fields is still showing, but the Accepted Insurance is too large. I would like the Custom Fields display:none; or removed, and the Accepted Insurance should be the same font and size as Specialities.

ParticipantHi Steven,
Ran into another issue with these split categories. I noticed that under the Categories box in Connections Directory Entry form, the insurance companies populate below the Categories (medical specialties) in checkboxes. I’ve attached a screenshot to show you what I am referring to. Basically, my question is, how can I hide the split category (insurance companies) from populating in the original Categories box. I don’t want the physicians to accidentally click on an insurance provider in the Specialties box, because it will show up on the front end as a Specialty…

Delete the installed version and download and install the latest version. It has been updated twice over the last two weeks.
