ParticipantHi Steven,
We use Connections for our Church and would like to create a list of members sorted by last name but also grouped by family. Members with the same last name but part of different families are now mixed. Every individuals is also part of a family. I tried with the order_by but could not get it working.
The list type ‘family’ could be a solution, but that one only shows the (clickable) names of the relations, but not the complete information of every individual.

Using the list type family should work fine, the user would have to click thru to see the details. Does that not work? OR, you simply want all family info displayed for each family member without having to click thru?

The family list works and it is no problem that users have to click to open.
But, when it is open, you only see the names of the individuals and not the other information like date of birth, email adress, specific categories, etc.A visitor who wants that information has to click a second time on the name of the relation (father, mother, etc.) and then navigate back to the family overview.
We would like to see those details directly after opening the family. It is more user-friendly, but also because we use this page with a special print stylesheet to generate a pdf. It is a page with javascript disabled, so the family is always ‘open’.
See attached picture.

Ok, the only way to achieve this would be a custom template or a custom template override file for Slim which will display this info. Doing this requires editing PHP as there is no setting or such which can be used to achieve this. I do provide custom developed solution if you are interested, let me know.
