GuestAfter downloading the contact form and purchasing the c-map template. I began to add the contacts into the contact app. I then noticed that the first and last records didn’t display and I was unable to search for the records. Thinking that the record were deleted I checked the records in the member update forms. The missing records were still in the database.
Is their a limit on the number of records that will display and searched.
Is there an upgrade so that I can have more records.
I have 49 more records to add to the contact list and as our association grows I may have more members.
I really like the contact plugin in, but after taking several days of tying in my contacts I will be disappointed that I can’t add any more records.
I hope you can help me out.
Thanksg

First, there is no limit. Here’s a user using it on a site with over 250,000 entries:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/scales-to-at-least-250000-entriesSecond, after some searching, I found that you are using Connections on this page:
http://adsai.co/connections/One this I noticed right away is at the very bottom it says, “No Results“. This indicates that you have the shortcode on the page twice. You should remove that second shortcode instance.
Back to the missing entries…
re: I began to add the contacts into the contact app.
What do you mean by the “contact app“?
re: Thinking that the record were deleted I checked the records in the member update forms. The missing records were still in the database.
I do not understand where you were checking; “update forms“??? Do you mean the Connections : Manage admin page?
re: I then noticed that the first and last records didn’t display and I was unable to search for the records.
Just about all the time this is because one of three reasons…
- The entry was not set as Public when it was added.
- The configuration option in the shortcode is such that those entries are to be excluded.
- The entries were unapproved and are in the mod queue which means they would be excluded from being listed.
Double check that the entries are set to Public and not in the mod queue.
What is the exact shortcode are you using? Please paste it in a reply exactly as it is in the page.

Yes the Connections Manager Page is were the records are that are not listed on the web page. I did remove one record and the record listed starting with the letter is not displayed on the home page.

Visibility: PublicThe above record that is not displayed. The last record that is displayed now is displayed because I had removed one record, but the first record is still not displayed. I bet that is I remove another record the first record will display.

Is this the short code page that you are talking about
Connections : Settings
Choose the page where your directory is located. This should be the page where you used the [connections] shortcode.
This is the message displayed
Please login to view the directory.

This is the member that is missing on the web page and was approved. If you would like I can delete and add back in.

No, this is the shortcode I’m talking about? See this page, Step 4.
What is the exact shortcode you are using? on this page:
http://adsai.co/connections/I ask, because if you have options set, it is possible to limit and exclude entries based on those options.
