    All the sub-categories of one category do not appear on my directory page.

    When I try to edit one of these sub categories, I received an error, “you do not have permissions…” but this cleared up after a few minutes.

    The parent category appears, but nothing underneath it.

    I have another parent category, and all the sub-categories do appear under that one.

    any ideas?

    Well, if it “clears up” I can’t help but to wonder if it somehow a plugin conflict. Another plugin blocking Connections.

    Do you have any security related plugins installed? If so, which one(s)?

    Also, please try this:

    Let me know what you learn.

    No, sorry, this is me being dumb. I didn’t have any entries using any of these subcategories, and must have a setting that says don’t show category if its not used.

    The errors were real, but that has gone away. I’ll see if anything happens again and follow the instructions.
