ParticipantHi,
I have 250 entries in Connections, and when I load it on a page, it’s very slow… it takes 15 seconds to load and I work on local.
I tried to install a lazy load but it didn’t worked.I have bought also your Extension Pro Pack. Is there a pagination fonctionnality or I need to buy a premium template?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,

Yes, you’ll need one of the premium templates. Loading 250+ entries on a page will be slow. This is not really a bug or limitation in Connections. If you were to try to load 250+ WordPress pages or posts on a single page, it too, would load very slowly. Likely much slower than loading those entries.
Hope I have answered your question.

ParticipantThanks for your answer. I agree it’s not a Connections bug.

re: Have you a demo of the pagination functionnality?
All the templates have demos, the link to the demo page is on each template product page. Here’s the direct link to the template demo page. The cMap, Market and Tile Plus demos show the pagination feature.
re: Is there a premium template which have lazy loading?
Sorry, no, not presently. That is something I might pursue after I have fully implemented the WP REST API support. This is going to take some time because the core of the code is “old” and designed to function in a very specific way. I’ve spent the last two month rewriting the code for the addresses to be more modern and modular with usage for the WP REST API in mind. I’m closing in on finishing just the one part of the rewrite. ONly after I have implemented the new code for phone, email, IM and such will I be able to move forward with the WP REST API implementation. After that is complete, I can investigate the many ways I can utilize this feature in templates.
Probably a far more detailed/technical answer that what you want, but I hope this does answer it thoroughly.
