While in Development our new site, we have found that for Safari, and Chrome the Slim Plus template images do not load, Firefox seems to load, once cached. In Chrome the console gives the error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘opera’ of undefined uwsopsandbox.wpengine.com/wp-content/plugins/connections/assets/js/jquery.preloader.min.js?ver=1.1:7
I can get the page to load, and the template pulldowns to close if I use the short code
[connections image="none"], just leaving a blank picture not available box. It would be nice to have the image show up.
Any thoughts? about java loading, I am using a child theme of a template built with grunt. Tim
Something, likely the theme, is including an older version of jQuery instead of the newer version bundled with WP. In addition to an older version being loaded, it is being loaded from Google instead of the version included with WordPress. That later isn’t necessarily bad if done correctly, but it is not. This will lead to breaking to many plugins.
My suggestion is to enable the jQuery Fixer option of the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab. This option attempts to correctly load the correct version of jQuery that is bundled with WP.
That should fix it. Let me know.
