Is it possible to include these code-changes in an update-safe way?
And how can I have bigger logos? For example 300×200 Pixel instead of 120×100?

Yes, please see this QuickTip for the details.
To change the size … in the code I gave above, change the height and width values to the size you want. If you do, you will have to adjust the CSS to compensate for the larger size. What changes you will need, not sure off-hand but should be easy for you to figure out using the CSS inspector in the browser’s dev tools.
