ParticipantI am noodling around and loving the options and ease of use of Connections. I have a few questions:
-How do I shorten the single-line Slim Plus presentation to make it more mobile friendly? Or better yet, responsive/aware?
-How do I shorten the line length on the category drop menu to make it more mobile friendly? Or better yet, responsive/aware?
-Can I display custom icons within an entry?
-Can I display more than the name on the single-line presentation (including the icons mentioned above)?
-Can I display, within a record, the categories that the record belongs to?
-If I can display the categories that a record belongs to, can those displays be hot buttons for searches?

1. Slim Plus will automatically shorten to the available content width of the theme. So if a theme reduces it width to fit on mobile, so will Slim Plus.
2. The category select width will be as wide as necessary to accommodate the text within. However, some theme set a min-width that overrides this.
3. If you put them in the bio, sure. Just add the image HTML tags to the bio.
4. Not without editing the core template PHP file. Of course adding anything more than just a name could make mobile viewing an issue unless you use CSS query to hide the extra info on mobile.
5. Only by editing the core template PHP files.
6. Not sure what you mean, sorry. Filter by category links perhaps? The template tag that outputs the categories to which an entry has been assigned does not currently output them as links. That is on my to do list.
Hope that helps!
