I understand what a shortcode is and where to place in a post or on a page, but how does siteshot get related to a cmap connections entry?
Siteshot appears in my toolbar for posts and pages, but that does not help me when editing an entry in a directory listing. What am I missing?
Here’s an example of two entries:
You do not need to set anything when editing an entry. You tell the template to use the SiteShot image. Here’s a link to the doc page. Follow the sample shortcode.
Hope that helps! Let me know.
Update: the shortcode is now working and the thumbnail of the websites do appear in my entries.
Thank you. I put the short code in a Page named “Directory.” It seems to be working, however I have duplicate displays of the records. One without the siteshot image and one with.
You do not add the shortcode to the page twice, just once with the options set that you want to use. Hope that helps!
