ParticipantI could not find SiteShot under the Forum area for questions so posting here —
I ordered Siteshot tonight and installed fine on my site– but then I read the documentation on how to make it work — I read everything but I don’t understand what to do —
it talks about taking this –
[connections image="siteshot"]
and inserting it — but where does one do that?I think I was expecting that once I installed the extension it would automatically pick up the website images on the already existing entries , but that was not the case at all — and I can’t see where on the entry page to click something or add something to get the images to show up.
I did find the little Siteshot icon on the Connections General Settings page but when it is clicked it references http://connections-pro.com — ?? I am guessing this is where you put the URL address you want?? — then it goes to the little screen where it says 300 which I am guessing you might edit to the size you want —
I also see the little Siteshot icon on the Pages and Posts entry pages where I am guessing you can use to make the short code to enter in any of the pages or posts?
But I see nothing that seems to be how I would get the little screen shot onto the actual Connections entries?? surely I must be missing something as the Connections entries is definitely where one would most want this to go???
What am I missing here ??
Thanks for your help.

ParticipantI tried to see if this is what the instructions meant —
and added this code that was referenced[connections image="siteshot"]
onto the website page that is where I have code for the directory to appear like below
[connections page_limit=4 image_fallback='none'][connections image="siteshot"]
this was not correct as it listed the directory 2 times on the page —
but on the 2nd directory it did show the image on the directory entries where there is a website link — BUT then it shows a missing image and the words Siteshot image missing —I am now guessing there is some configuration of this code that I should be using — but what do I need to do to use the siteshot — BUT have NO image at all show up where there is not a website link???
Thanks in advance for your help

You add,
image="siteshot"
to your existing shortcode that displays you directory, you would add it to the page separately. So in your case your shortcode would look like this on you directory page:[connections page_limit=4 image_fallback='none' image="siteshot"]
That it, there’s nothing else to configure or set.
The little icon that you see on the RTE is so you can insert a SiteShot outside of a Connections into any post or page of any website of your choosing at a size you choose.
Hope that helps.
