ParticipantSo I’ve just moved our site from our dev servers to live servers so the URL has changed. I can’t seem to get it working on our new site http://www.planetwindsurfholidays.com/blog (currently hidden)? It’s actually a WP multi-site set up so we have 5 sub sites that I need it to work on too. This was fine on the dev server so I guess we just have to register the new domain, but I did that on your site for Gridder and CMap.Let me know?

No, activating the support licenses will not affect whether a extension or template will function or not. That is only used to determine if it is eligible for in admin updates.
The issue, that really depends on what is not working. Likely the cause is in the method that was used to move the site from the dev to the production servers or the misconfiguration of some of the WordPress constants in the
wp-config.php
file.I’ll need more details in order to better assist. For example what and where does not work and what, if any errors are you receiving.
If you could open the site to me that will likely be very helpful and make resolving the issue as fast as possible.

ParticipantHi Steven, You can view the pages here (its a multi-site set up so there are a few sites in the network, examples pages are http://www.planetdiveholidays.com/blog/partners/ (cmap template) & http://www.planetkitesurfholidays.com/blog/ambassadors/ (gridder template), http://www.planetwindsurfholidays.com/blog/partners/ (main site)
Nothing seems to appear now on any of the pages despite it working on our dev servers. I used Updraft to do the migration, maybe it didn’t copy some files?
If it comes to it I guess I can do afresh install as there is only dummy data there but I’d prefer to avoid that if possible as I spent time configuring the templates, categories etc

I can only view the dive partners page, the others I still see the coming soon page.
On those other two pages, do they only say no result too?
Do you see the entries in the admin of each site?
Can you see if Updraft properly migrated the database tables for Connections and its data?
I do not believe reinstalling will resolve anything as from what I can tell the sata is simply missing or not accessable.
If you can give me a temp super admin login, I’ll take a look. Also install Query Monitor and Database Browser (not sure if this is multisite compatible :/ ) so I can use them for debugging.

The windsurf site is not returning results on the page because it is be filter to display only entries on the “Windsurf” category which has no entries assigned to it. This correctly yields the no result message that you are seeing.
The Connections tables for the other two sites do not exist and seemingly not properly migrated by UpDraft OR are you by chance making use of the
CN_MULTISITE_ENABLED
on the source site in thewp-config.php
file and not on the destination site?05/24/2016 at 8:58 pm #377452Tim Brickle
ParticipantIt works. My mistake I had forgot to add this line back in the config file after migrating the sites. Stupid. Thanks for your help.

Great to hear this is resolved and it ended up being something simple to fix.
