O R
GuestWe are a non profit arts organization. We are using a Connections Directory to share information about our roster of teaching artists. We are new users, and implemented Connections for our new website which went live in September 2018.
It doesn’t look like the individual artist directory pages are discoverable in a Google search.
If I search “teaching artist name” + “program name” the Connections Directory is not appearing in the search results. If I search “teaching artist name” + “our organization name” the Connections Directory is not appearing in the search results either.
For example: Googling “Eric Marlow Artists in Schools” brings up our old website directory, but not the new one. Same goes for “Eric Marlow Ohio Alliance for Arts Education.”
A Google search of just “Eric Marlow” on its own does not return the new Connections Directory page either (at least not in the first two pages of results.) That search still pulls our old, inactive, website.
I am concerned that the Connections Directory pages are not appearing in Google search results for our artists. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you!

Looks like Google has indexed many pages on your site:

Google is still ranking your old site higher than the old site. This is not something Connections can control.
When I limit the search results for your site and search for “Eric Marlow” which returns as the first result:
RE: What are your thoughts on this?
It appears Google is crawling and indexing the site. It is up to their algorithms to surface the content. Check your Google Webmaster Console. You can request to remove old links and to submit pages to be indexed. Not sure how that later would help at all since the pages are indexed. Its really up to Google to surface those in search results.
Hope this helps!
