    Hi,

    I’m wondering what the simplest way would be to upload files to my server (mostly PDFs) and add links to them (perhaps in the Notes section of my Connections entries).  I’m aware that users can upload files using the built in WP media uploads, manually copy the links and then paste them in to the Notes, but I am looking for a simpler method than this.

    Is there a way in which the Connections ‘Insert/Edit Link’ pop-up could be adapted to search/insert links to WP media/uploads?

    Better still would be a way of uploading the files when creating/editing entries in such a way that links to the files are automatically created and display somewhere in the front-end database.

    I would be grateful for any information about this or advice as to the simplest way of handling uploads.

    Sorry, for the short answer, but no. The only way to link to files is to put the link into the bio or notes fields.

    OK, thanks for letting me know Steven.  Could I add this as a feature request?  I would have thought that some system of uploading files would be a great feature, even if it’s just the ability to access WP media directly from the hyperlink button in the toolbar.
