Is there any way to specify if the “Submit New Entry” is displayed in the [connections] shortcode? I have it installed/enabled for the whole site and it displays, but on some pages I want it hidden. For example, the page that lists the sponsoring organizations I do not want to take submissions, but for just “members” I want people to be able to add their own info into the moderation queue. Is this possible?
Not really, no, sorry. Maybe what you can do is add the link manually on the page where you want it to show and then deactivate the link in the settings. I believe that should work.
Hope that helps!
Thank you, I ended up doing something similar. I enabled the feature to get the URL, which was the page with /submit after it. I then deactivated the feature from displaying, and created a new link to the submission page using that hardcoded url. It ended up working even better this way, because now I can just distribute the submission URL to members without making it visible to the world.
