ParticipantI am creating a vendor directory for my association. I am excited to have found cMap as a great way to display our partners.
The Show Notes and Show Map links at the bottome of the cMap card don’t open a drop down or a window. Is there a feature I need to turn on so they work? If not, is there a way to remove them from the card so people don’t click on them?
This is an example. Not all categories have been populated, yet.

Looking at the page, it appears you have entered some malformed HTML in the page content. For example, I see a open
<p>
and<em>
started before the shortcode. This is causing the browser to attempt to fix it, but is doing so incorrectly which is breaking the links. What you’ll need to do is edit the page and switch the editor to the text tab. Remove any HTML tag from within and around the
[connections]
shortcode. Additionally, you’ll have to make sure all tags are properly open and closed.Hope this helps, let me know.

GuestHi Steve,
Thanks for the response. I always work within the text tab, not the visual editor when making updates to the site. I found the open and removed it. I could not find the open<
p>.
I’m using the shortcode [connections category=1]. I would really like to get this to work, but I have limited experience in html. Is there any way to just hide Show Notes/Show Map for the time being?

Ok, looks good now, the issue now seems to be a fatal javascript error in the theme which is breaking all javascript on the page which comes after the error. You can see this error by opening the page in Chrome and hitting the F12 key and then clicking the Console tab.
This is the error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'top' of undefined

Yes, you can hide the links. Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customize button for cMap.
The page will refresh displaying the Customizer on the left and a preview on the left. Disable the option to display the bio and notes then save the changes and exit the Customizer.
Hope this helps!
ps. This will not correct the javascript error which is still preventing other scripts from running correctly.
