    Hi

    I’m using cMap to show a directory of businesses. In the directory view, where you see a list of businesses, I’d like to show a summary of data for each business. Once you’ve selected a business to view, I’d like to show all the available info. Can this be accomplished?

    Sure, if you are running cMap 3.0.1? If you’re not, the upgrade is free and can be downloaded from your Purchase History. Just make sure you have name linking turned on. That setting can be found on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    I am using cMap3.0.1. I’ve got the link set up but the options shown on the list view is the same as the options shown on the page if is is showing only one business. I’ve got cMap selected as template for ‘All’ and for ‘organization’. I would like to eg show only logo, name and tel number on the list view BUT the full information on the next page, once you’ve clicked on the name of one business.

    How do I use the shortcode to define that I want a subset of options on the list view, but everything on the detail page? I have only the one shortcode on the wordpress page that lists the directory. There isn’t an additional shortcode to define the display for the detail page. Am I missing something?

    Ok, understand better. Sorry, but there is not a way to do this yet. I thought you were asking that after your clicked thru to the entry if all the details would be shown “open” rather than have to click and show them. Right now you can not define which items are shown based on the current view.
