ParticipantAfter the latest wordpress update, our connections shortcodes stopped working and now only display the shortcodes themselves on the pages/posts that they are on. I realized while trying to solve the problem that our license had expired for our template (Slim) and our extension (cMap), so I renewed it, installed the new versions and made sure the plugin was up to date–but the issue still exists. Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Can you doable check to ensure the Connections plugin is installed and active?

ParticipantDouble checked, and yes it is installed and active. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating it, and there is no change.

What are the exact shortcodes you’re using? Can you share links to the affected pages.

ParticipantThe site is a password protected staff intranet, but here are a few of the ones that are showing up:
[connections_list show_alphaindex=’true’]
[connections_list show_alphahead=’true’]
[connections_list category=9]Etc.
Should I try uninstalling the plugin completely at this point and then reinstall it?

Ahhh, that explains it the
[connections_list]
shortcode was deprecated about 3 years ago and support for it was removed about a year ago (maybe a little less).Just change
connections_list
toconnections
and you’ll be all fixed up.10/06/2014 at 1:34 pm #306226Melinda Brazzale
ParticipantThank you! I hadn’t realized it had changed, and it works great now that it’s updated.
Thank you again for your help.
