ParticipantHi there :)
I’d like to be able to display a list of anniversary dates for the members in the directory on this page:
http://www.sussexareachamber.org/members/members-directory/Is there a shortcode that will automatically pull this information from the dates field?
Thanks very much!

ParticipantThanks very much. I couldn’t seem to get it to work.. It was putting the same “View all” link on the page. Also, I’m not really pulling anniversary dates but “membership” dates.. does that make a difference? And do I need to use a different template?
Thanks much!

I’m a bit confused on the “View all” link part. That setting is on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab.
The shortcode I linked you to only output a list of upcoming birthdays or anniversaries, not the other dates.
Question, are you just wanting to show the dates on the template of the page you linked to?
If yes, the only way to do that is update the template as the older version of cMap you have installed ins’t “aware” of the other date fields.
It is a free update that can be downloaded via your Purchase History page. Please be sure to carefully following the installation/update instructions as the method used to install templates has changed.
I hope that helps.

ParticipantHi Steven,
I’ve updated the template but still can’t seem to get the desired results. What I am trying to make happen is to have a list of member anniversary dates for the current month display on the page or a widget in the sidebar to recognize how long the member has been with the Chamber of Commerce. This is the shortcode I was trying to use:
***[connections template="cmap" category='5' upcoming_list list_type='membership']***So, what you’re saying is that the “view all” link will be used everywhere if I don’t turn that off, correct?
Thanks very much!

Ok, the link I gave originally was the correct one. However, is only outputs a list of upcoming birthdays and anniversaries.
The correct usage of that shortcode would be:
[upcoming_list list_type='anniversary']I don’t currently have a method of pulling the info for the other date types to create a listing, sorry.

ParticipantOK, thanks Steven. No worries. I may just use the field anniversary instead.. Or I may just say.. nah, nah, nah :) It was a feature that was requested by not imperative by any means :)
