Having a little problem with searches. I have my members directory page which has two, what appear to be automatically inserted search boxes. Neither of them work and my WordPress site search obviously doesn’t work on the directory listings, so my visitors can’t search for anything except specifically via the custom menus I’ve made using categories. Please could you take a look and see why I can’t remove the search boxes (why are there two?) and I can’t get them to work. Would be very grateful as I am going on holiday Wednesday and have to get them working before I do. When I put them into the side bars they won’t work there either. http://blog.mica.org.au/blog is the url.
p.s. WordPress site search isn’t working either …
OK so I had a couple of plugins that I have disabled and it seems to be all working again. Sorry to bother you – I’ve got it fixed for the moment I hope :)
Good to hear you have this sorted. My first thought was some sort of plugin conflict.
Search doesnt work in my test site – and has no plugins in it
Can you share the link to your test site? Also, can you attach a screenshot of the Connections : Settings admin page, the Search tab?
