ParticipantHi – not sure what happened but I am not getting any filtered search at all now – even in Desktop view.
I have tried the default twenty fifteen theme and I still don’t get any search result.
I tried disabling all plugins except the core ones and no luck. Will follow up with a private reply to show you what I mean10/30/2015 at 11:46 pm #352768Alan Teh

ParticipantI have Form and Slim-plus enabled. When I click on View all, and then click on an individual contact, I am getting “Template not found” error even though it is installed and activated. I am not sure if this is related to the Search error I am getting now.

Seems to be a server config and/or WP config issue… The server responds back with error 403 forbidden and the search query string are being dropped. When I access individual entries specifically it works fine. Example:
/mylist/name/jane-doe/
So this is only triggered when query strings are being used. Example:
/mylist/?cn-s=jack
My suggestion would be check the security related settings in the following, but not limited to the .htaccess file, the wp-config.php file, any membership plugins or security plugins.
Hope that helps. Let me know.

ParticipantThanks for the leads
I looked at the server error logs and it show:
Directory index forbidden by Options directive error message
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5301776/directory-index-forbidden-by-options-directiveI can’t find anything in the htaccess file and the search is still problematic with every plugin disabled except Connections and the template
I’ll check with my hosting service

ParticipantI found out the problem, and I had a directory with no index.php with the same name as the page with the Connections shortcode
Can close the issue now, thanks11/03/2015 at 10:21 am #353206Steven Zahm
