ParticipantI changed the name of the page that my connections short code is on and now the search function doesn’t appear to be working. What should I do to make the search function work again. I don’t remember the former page name as it had no relevance to what the page was about. Thanks for any help!

The page name should have no effect of the search working or not. Which template are you using and what version? Also, can you please share a link to the page having the issue. Lastly can you attach a screen capture of the Connections : Settings admin page, Search tab? Thanks!

GuestThank you for your quick response!
The page is: http://www.smithtownmoms.com/directory/
Connections: Version 0.8.14
Connections Market – Template :Version 3.0.1I’m not sure where to attach the screen print, but will send that when I can figure out how to attach.
Thank you!

Can you try updating to Market 4.0 to see if that resolves the issue? You can download it from your Purchase History page.
It shouldn’t make a difference, but … you know how that goes…
If it does not make a difference, can I please get a temp admin account so I can take a closer look?
My guess is that a plugin is likely unsetting the search query vars. You can test this by temporarily deactivating all other plugins. I have a hunch that will solve the problem. If it does, then you have to activate the plugin one at a time until the issue comes back. When it you’ve found the plugin causing the issue. Let me know what you find out.
