GuestHi,
I am using the Slim Plus template and am happy with the way it is working. I am, however, experiencing an issue that I am hoping you can clear up for me….
We have about 140 contacts listed in about 10 categories. The contacts are displayed in various ways throughout the site with a search box and the alphabetical listings at the top of each instance (as well as a search box in the sidebar/widget area). The issue is…
…If I use the search box (in either location) to look for a name, it will pull up the correct results (as it should), BUT if I then decide to search for a different name and either enter a new name in the search box or click on the alphabetical list of letters at the top I get no results (even if I search for a contact that I know exists). Is there a way to clear the first search and then sort through the contacts without navigating to a new page or refreshing the current page?
Many thanks,

Can you share a link to your directory so I can see the issue and replicate the issue? That’ll help me a bunch to understand better.

GuestHi Steven,
Yes, there is a search widget in the sidebar on all pages or the main contact page at http://hrshipbrokers.net/contacts
Many thanks for your help,

The only solution I can think of off the top of my head would be to delete this line from the
class.template-parts.phpfile found here:
../wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/template/Can you try that to see if that is acceptable?

GuestSteven,
Thanks very much, that appears to have done the trick! Great plugin (and support)…will definitely use again.

Great to hear! After any update to Connections, you’ll have to make that change again. I’ll see If I can come up with a clever way to enable this as a feature.
