GuestWas just doing a quick test on searching and noticed a bug when multiple pages are returned for a search with more than one word.
For example – when doing a search for model homes, the results turn up fine on page 1, but the page selector concatenates the search query for all subsequent pages, resulting in a not found error.
For example, when searching for model homes the url returned for the search is:
/base/?cn-s=model+homes
And the first page of results is correct. But clicking the link for the next page brings you to the following url:
/base/pg/2/??cn-s=modelhomes
It removes the + in between the two search words, thereby making the rest of the page results fail.
This is when using FULLTEXT query support in the cMAP template.

Hmmm… wonder how I missed that during testing. I’ve confirmed the bug and have fix it for the next release scheduled for the end of the month — which at this point looks like I might be a week late. If you wish. Give me a temp admin and I can login and apply a hotfix to fix this on your site.

GuestI don’t blame you for missing it, it’s fairly obscure and unless you do that specific sequence on a database large enough to return multiple pages for a multiple word search you would never even see it. I just happen to have filled my connections database with almost 5,000 entries and have been running a ton of different tests on sorting and searching the database. Other than that minor issue it’s been running without a hitch.
My site isn’t live yet, so I should be fine waiting for the next release, but if it isn’t released by the time I’m ready to launch, I’ll let you know.
Thanks!
