GuestI would have 2-3 parent categories. I would like to have it so that any number of subcategories could be chosen in a radio-style or checkbox kind of way. Is this possible?
Also, can this not be located on the homepage?
Thanks!

Sorry, not without some custom coding. Connections should work on the front page just fine now, as of version 0.7.6.4 … I hope, it does on my test sites.

GuestOkay, so does that mean even if there was one parent, multiple subcategories couldn’t be selected? Only one selection is possible?

Technically, yes, there is a beta feature in every template that has a category drop down. There is an option that can be enabled which will allow unlimited multiple category selection. Several user are already using this feature and seem quite satisfied by its functionality.

GuestReally? And you’re talking about the premium templates, correct? I could work with it if they could pick however many choices they wanted in a drop-down.

Yes, any of the premium templates that have a category drop down.You would add the following to the shortcode to enable the feature:
enable_category_multi_select=true

GuestThank you! I’m so glad to hear that. Where would I add that code?
Okay, one other question, can there be searches within searches? I’m thinking no but let me give you an example:
A user does an initial search and it takes them to the results page. On that results page, can there be an additional search to narrow down the results?
Thanks for ALL your help!

Apologies for the delay. Sorry, but there is no search within a search feature.
