GuestSMOOTH SCROLL OFFSET is a great option for me because I have sticky menu on my website.
I have set Scroll to 90 px for computers and 25 for mobile phones.
Now,
This works great if I click on headings from inside the table of content box on the post/page itself.
The heading is below the sticky menu. Everything Works fine. But, if one article has a link to some heading of another post, then this smooth scroll offset is not followed. The heading gets hidden behind the sticky/consistent menu.
For example on my post (you can see if you visit the below link)-
https://www.writinglaw.com/chapter-ix-161-171-of-ipc-offences-by-or-relating-to-public-servants/there is a section 166B. In this section there is a link in blue colour called ‘section 357C’ This link is for other post.
The link for section 357C is-
https://www.writinglaw.com/chapter-xxvii-353-365-of-crpc-the-judgment/#357C_Treatment_of_victimsNow if I visit this link then, smooth scroll offset of 90px that I have set is not followed. The heading gets hidden below the sticky menu.
How do I fix these?
Can you please bring an update to fix this issue.I can explain this issue again in other words if I was not able to explain properly here. I can make a screen recording and send you. :)
Thanks.12/03/2018 at 9:11 am #478385Steven Zahm

Sorry, but there is not a way to apply smooth scroll to inpage anchors coming from another page. Well, at least not any way that I am familiar with.

Sorry, but to my knowledge there is not a way to apply a smooth scroll to a page when following a link from different page.
