I have ascribed the following Connections capabilities to the users on my site who have Contibutor role;
View Admin Menu, Add Entry, Edit Entry, Delete Entry
however when a Contributor user logs in only Add Entry option appears from the Connections menu item in their Dashboard, how can I configure Connections so that they are able to edit or delete their own address entry?
this has been answered here – sorry I did not get an email notification of an answer and couldn’t find my original post – so posted my question again!
Good to hear this is resolved. I’m going to mark both as resolved.
Hi, do you have a list of what each Role setting does?
How do I stop business owners (contributors) from attempting to edit or delete other businesses listings? also how do I stop them from submitting blog posts?
I have blog set to give those who register , Contributor rights,
and Roles set as :
– view admin menu
– add entry (Moderated)
– edit entry(Moderated)
– View List (Manage)
Whats the difference between setting roles for Author , contributor, subscriber ?
Also cant get logo and picture to both display. How do i get them to both show?
Does your pro addon pack solve issues mentioned above?
