ParticipantGreetings again Steven. Many thanks for all your help and prompt support!
Firstly, I have gone through the tutorial:
https://connections-pro.com/2014/05/04/quicktip-easy-text-changing/
After installing the Say What plugin just to let you know there are no options in the Tools Settings of Connections.
Anyway one can edit the Settings of the Say What plugin
What I want to do is to change Title in the section of the Form just after Name to “Qualifications”
So in Say What I put :
Original string : Title
Text domain: connections
Replacement string: Qualifications
That does the trick except that it also changes the string Title for the Links section to Qualifications.
Is there some way to prevent the latter (the second Title replacement) from happening?

RE: After installing the Say What plugin just to let you know there are no options in the Tools Settings of Connections.
I’m not 100% certain what you are saying here. Sorry. The instructions do not make mention of there being options for Say What in the Connections Tools. The tutorial the options are under the Tools : Text Changes page. This is where that plugin inserts its admin page.
RE: That does the trick except that it also changes the string Title for the Links section to Qualifications.
Right now, there is not a way to distinguish between the two. I just made a tweak in the code for the next update this week so it will be possible to target just one of these. After this next update, you will be able to use the following settings in Say What?:
Individual “Title”:
- Original string:
Title
- Text domain:
connections
- Text context:
A name that describes someone's position or job.
- Replacement string:
Qualifications
Web link “Title”:
- Original string:
Title
- Text domain:
connections
- Text context:
A link (or hyperlink, or web link) title attribute.
- Replacement string:
Change
Hope this helps!

For the web link title, triple check your settings in Say What. They must be exact or it will not work. It appears you have not entered the info I supplied for the
Context
. This matters, because this is how WP knows the two titles are different.fyi… I will need to release a Form update that includes a similar tweak which means the one Say What change will not longer be valid. You should have three instances for title in Say What to be forward compatible. You will need the two I already directed and this one:
- Original string:
Title
- Text domain:
connections
- Text context:
[blank, enter nothing]
- Replacement string:
Qualifications
- Original string:
