removing uncategorized from list

    Using the cMap template and its great!

    Our intranet is back up and running. But aside using a shortcode to manually list just the categories you want to show in the drop down is there a way to just remove the uncategorized option?

    My categories are actually our departments and I know people are going to start asking why “categorized is an option.

    You can delete it. But first, you need to select a new default category on the Connections Settings admin page under the General tab. After you select a different default category you will be able to delete the “Uncategorized” category. Just be aware that any entries assigned to that category will be moved to the new default category.
