ParticipantOver the past two years our CMS has had many changes and the Connections database has not been kept current. Is it possible to reload the Connections database easily by clearing out the data and then importing the current data?

Sure, you would likely want to renew your license for the CSV Import so you can the latest version.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantThank you for your response. I will certainly renew my CSV Import license before continuing. The one thing that I don’t understand is how to clear the Connections database prior to reloading it.

ParticipantMy bad, I took a look at the WP_Connections tables within my WordPress database. Is clearing the Connections database as simple as clearing all or some of the tables? I found a total of 13 tables.

My suggestion would be to deactivate Connections and then drop all
{wpdb-prefix}_connectionstables from the DB and then reactivate Connections. On activation, Connections will recreate its tables.Hope that helps!

ParticipantSteven, Thanks for the recommendation, I will follow it. Is there a way to “salvage” pictures that were previously uploaded to the Connections Business
Directory so that they could be manually reloaded? Thanks – Art

The images are saved to the
../wp-content/uploads/connections-images/folder. If you migrated the entirewp-contentfolder from the source to destination site You likely already “salvaged” them. -
