ParticipantMy client reported that his website hasn’t been receiving registrations for a while, and in fact that some people have told him that they registered but he can’t see them in the moderation queue or in the member roster.
I did a quick test, and the registration seemed to go through OK (success message: “Submission received. We will review and approve your submission soon.”) however when I looked in the back end, I could not see any new records (for moderation or already accepted).
The site is http://www.battererintervention.org. I’ll be happy to share WP admin login info in case this is useful.
FYI – WP is up to date as well as all plugins, including Connections.
My client is anxious to get this figured out as he just did a big mailing.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Form is pretty out of date. The current version is 2.4.1. My first suggestion is to update it to see if that resolves the issue.
fyi, I did a test submission and I too received the success message. Please check to see if it is in the moderation queue. If it is, then things are working well and perhaps your test did not work because you were logged in when doing the submission. Entries added while logged in as the admin will not hit the mod queue as they are submitted using the same user permissions as you have in the admin.
Now, if my test submission is not in the mod queue, like I suggested, try updating first. If that does not work, then I’ll need an admin account to debug further.

ParticipantThanks Steven for your prompt response.
I bought a renewal for the Pro Pack, downloaded Form, removed the old version, uploaded and activated the new / current one, and now it seems to be working fine.
My only comment/suggestion: I don’t recall seeing an indication that the plugin was out of date, so I didn’t even think to check it. It would be helpful if you make it so that when an updated version is available that it shows up in the dashboard or in the Plugins area.
Also, I don’t recall getting any emails from you announcing updates or simply to stay in touch. Am I on your email list? (Do you have an email list for customers and send out things periodically?)
Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated.

Add and Activate your support license keys on the Connections Settings admin page under the Licenses tab.
After you do, you will be notified right within the admin about updates and be able to apply them with a single click like you can with the free plugins from wordpress.org.
You should have receive 3 or 4 renewal reminder emails around the time of the license expiration. Is you email address current? The customer record say it is e******@b******w.com (the numer of asterisks I used are a random number, not representative of the actual number of characters to prevent guessing by others :) ) If your address is correct, perhaps they ended up your spam folder. That should happen because these email are verified and signed which stop email service providers such as Gmail and Outlook from auto filtering to the spam folder.

ParticipantHi Steven –
I have added and activated my support license key in the Connection Settings admin page under the Licenses tab. I noticed that it only asked for the one for Form; perhaps because that is the only item from the Pro Pack that I am actually using??
I also activated the site in the Purchase History > License Keys for Pro Pack and Form. I noticed that it said there was an upgrade for Pro Pack available for a fee. I thought I had just purchased an upgrade for the Pro Pack; or am I incorrect?
With regards to renewal reminders, it is possible that the emails got caught in my spam filter. The email address you have on file for me is correct. Can you tell me what address the notifications would be sent out from? I can whitelist your sender address which should allow notices to come through the spam filter more easily.
Thanks again for your excellent products and dedicated and thorough service and support!

The only option that will be displayed, will be those that are activated on the Plugins admin page. If Form is the only extension activated, that would be the only option in the Licenses tab. Hope that makes sense.

You can upgrade to multi site licenses for the Pro Pack (1-5 sites and unlimited sites) from the single site license that you currently have. These are only presented as an option for users that need them. If you do not, then there is nothing to purchase.
re: With regards to renewal reminders, it is possible that the emails got caught in my spam filter.
Sure that is possible.
re: Can you tell me what address the notifications would be sent out from?
That’s a good question! They should come from sales@connections-pro.com
Hope that helps!
