ParticipantHi,
I want to have some explanation of how a registration wordpress could work with your directory.I have seen that you have a link plugin that could work. But I want to be sure its met my needs.
I would like to have a process like this
– the user register in Worpdress, with email and adress
– the user complete at the same time the Connection form
– the admin validate both registration and entry in the connection directoryI don’t want the registration in WordPress and Connection to be disconnected. Otherwise, it would be difficult to explain to the users.
I want to use your plugin as directory for a site dedicated to formers students of a school http://www.notrelysma.com/annuaire-alysmaThanks for your help

Presently there is not a way to register a user and submit a Connections entry at the same time as Connections as Connections does not process WordPress user registrations. Many other users do is use a user registration plugin of which there are many great options available that feature admin approval of the user registrations. After the user has been admin approved and when the user logs in, the admin has it setup so the user is directed to a “member area” page from here the user is then given instructions on how to add/edit their directory entry.
I do have a new solution that may interest you, it’s just not available in the store yet as I am still preparing it. I have a new addon coming called Gravity Forms Connector. It will allow you to use Gravity Forms and their User Registration add-on to create a custom Gravity Form which will both process user registration and add a Connections entry. However I would only recommend this solution to those that are professional web developers with experience with Gravity Forms otherwise it may be overwhelming and frustrating due to the amount of setup required by requiring two custom Gravity Forms and configuration of their feed settings for Connections and User registration. If this is you and you are interested in this solution, here’s the link the Gravity Forms Connector doc page for your review. It is definitely still a work in progress. If you’d like to pursue this solution, we can work out a way to get you an advance copy of this addon.
Hope this helps, let me know.
