GuestWhen Connections > Settings > SEO > Page Title > ‘Update the page title to reflect the current location being viewed in the directory. For example, the current entry name” is checked the current directory entry is prepended to every blog entry title in the Recent Posts widget when viewing an individual Directory entry. So if the post tile is “Free Parking” and the current directory entry is “Alpine Sports” the blog entry title becomes “Alpine Sports » Free Parking” – somewhat like the page title. Not good but may be I’m missing something.

Thanks for taking the time to report. I appreciate it very much. This bug has been fixed already and the fix will be part of the next update.
Cheers!

GuestHi Steven
I’m noticing something else and wonder if it’s related. The
…
section of a single blog entry is missing sometimes. Since the plugin is updating page titles I was wondering if it might be editing the
section? You can see an example at santafedowntown.org/news. Check the Recent News items: two out of three show their title while three don’t.04/15/2014 at 10:08 pm #288685Robert
GuestPS If I deactivate the Connections plugins will the data still be there when I reactivate? I should probably do that test. TX R

GuestFalse alarm on the
issue! Turns out the blog entries were filed under different Formats.

Good to hear! Also, I should have mentioned, You can disable the page title feature to “fix” the recent posts widget.
Yes, you can deactivate and even delete Connections, you data will be safe in the database … one of the “bad” things about Connections is that I have not yet created an uninstall routine to clean up its data in the database. I’m actually a little hesitant to create it because I do not want someone to accidentally delete 10’s of thousand of entries.
