We have had a designer using Connections to create a search facility for our consultants (http://www.cadogans.com/our-people/). However, the designer is now out of his depth in terms of programming and we need some help in getting this part of our site the way we want it. In particular we are looking at how to reorder searches so that certain staff always come first when you do a search. Could help us with this?
@ David
Quick question, are you using either the birthday or anniversary field for any of your entries? If not, maybe use one of those fields and then use the order_by shortcode option. It’s kind of hacky, but I do think it might work.
If it doesn’t, I’m not available for additional work at this time, but I do have someone I can recommend. I’ll point him to this forum post and ask him to reply.
David,
Steve pointed me to your request. I’d be happy to help, and I do not think this will be a complicated job to finish. You can write to me at joshua.kornreich@gmail.com if you’d like to move forward.
Josh
