    Is there a way in the profile template to have the items float beside each other rather then in just a vertical list? My profile card’s are not very wide so I have a lot of whitespace if it’s just vertical.

    This is not a built on feature of the template, but, you could apply a custom CSS style to make the card float next each other. If you share a link to your directory page I can quickly create a CSS statement that will get you started.
