GuestHi
I have two issues with custom fields on the registration form and would appreciate your help please.
- I’ve added a custom field to the registration form and can see it if I go to the form from the WP dashboard and manually input a directory member’s details. However, if the members follow the ‘add my directory listing’ link the form they are presented with does not include the custom fields. I have checked the tick boxes on the settings pages to display custom fields but that hasn’t helped with regard the entry form.
- I’ve check the box to display custom fields on the directory front end and need to know how to change the label please? Having a large, colourful ‘custom fields’ header makes no sense to searchers. Can you point me in the direction of where to edit this please?
Many thanks

Sorry, but the “Custom Fields” metabox is available only to admins to add/edit data. This is pretty much the same as the “Custom Fields” metabox which is available in the core WordPress when adding/editing pages/posts.
User editable “custom fields” are possible to add, but a bit technical todo. Here’s a tutorial which provides instructions on how to add custom text fields.

When you add you own custom text field, it’ll have its own header which you define.
Hope this helps!
