so I may be doing something very wrong but I have a problem uploading a CSV file with the CSV import plugin; when I go map the CSV it does not recognize the different columns that I have seperated with ” and , and only gives me one import field to choose. Do you have any ideas?
Without being able to see the csv file, my guess is that the quotes themselves are . quoted. Doing this “escapes” the quotes and are read as a single field. Open your csv file back into your spreadsheet and remove the quotes from around the header fields names and then re-export the file as a CSV file.
Hope that helps!
ps. A good read is the tips section of the CSV Import documentation.
It worked of course. Many thanks for the help and the great extension.
