    Hi,

    I’m considering to buy Pro Pack, because I think your plugin does exactly what I need !

    I have just a question for you : we are launching a network of sellers (they come at home), and we would like to use Connections as an online directory for them. They create their client listing online, by category (family, friends, …) and we can watch it.

    But we wouldn’t like that other sellers can see it. We would like in any kind of way to make it private for the seller who created it. The seller would have a subscriber role with watch, add and modify entry, but only for HIS entries.

    Would it be possible ?

    Sorry, but unfortunately, entries within Connections can not be assigned “owners”. That is on my to list; I even have a column set aside in the database to support this feature. What that said I do not know when or how this feature will be implemented at this time; maybe sometime next year and likely as an extension.

    Errr I was so sure that would work that I bought the cmap template, my bad.
    Would it be long to add this feature ? We really need it …

    I can do in another way, but it is so long : create a category by user, and make a filter by category. Then create a page and protect it just for this user …

    I do not know when or how this feature will be implemented at this time; maybe sometime next year and likely as an extension.

    The way you worked out would work but it would require being setup for each new user.

    Yeah it’s quite something to handle, not user-friendly …

    Moreover I have to block entry list in backend for the Users, they could see others connections if I don’t …
    So they can’t modify their own entries

    Keep me posted if you decide to implement this feature, I will definitely buy the extension !

    Yes, make sure you have the “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” checkbox checked when making a post/reply.
