ParticipantHello, we have a site using Premise Member plugin and apparently Premise Member blocks members from the wp admin bar at the top as well as the url to access the edit profile page. For users there is no admin bar. I tried copying the link to it into another location but it only redirects to another page.
Do you have a workaround for this? We would really like for our members to be able to edit their own profiles and that’s why we purchased this plugin.
Hoping you can help, thanks!

I just received you email. Apologies! I thought for certain I had replied to this days ago.
If Premise member is blocking access by redirecting access to the admin area, there’s nothing I can really do about that. What I would suggest is looking thru that plugins options to see if there is a way to white list the admin page for Link or otherwise disable the admin redirect.
If the member plugin does not have one of those options … the only solution is to wait for Link 2.0. Link 2.0 when used with Form 2.0 will allow front-end user maintenance of their entry. The expected release for both of these updates is before end of month. I’m currently about 90% finished with the Form 2.0 update, which is significant. After it is completed, adding front-end editing for Link will be fairly quick to do. Both of these updates will require the 0.8 update to Connections which will also be released before the end of the month.

ParticipantWhen will Link 2.0 be ready and will it be a free update?
Thank you!

A couple weeks, max. It appears you made the purchase of Link on 9/10/2013, so, yes, it will be a free update. You’ll just need to download it from your purchase history. I’ll be blogging an release announcement when the update goes live.
