    In our WordPress installation we have the plugins directory separated from the content. We haven’t had any issues with other plugins but this one. The problem is that links to CSS and JS are broken since they are being referenced to the content directory not the plugins one. We fixed the issue on this file: plugins/connections/includes/class.utility.php

    We basically replaced this lines of code:

    743 – $content_url = content_url();

    744 – $content_dir = untrailingslashit( WP_CONTENT_DIR );

    For this ones:

    743 – $content_url = plugins_url();

    744 – $content_dir = untrailingslashit( WP_PLUGIN_DIR );

    After the last update our changes were lost, so we had to replaced those lines again.

    Can you give more info on your setup so I can duplicate the issue you are having with the broken css/js?

    I’m pretty certain I can not simply make this change because it would break backward compatibility with thousand of site still using the old legacy templates which reside in the wp-content/connections_templates folder and not the plugins folder like the modern templates do.

    If I can mimic your setup more closely, I can perhaps add a filter which can be hooked into so you can change the path without having to hack the core files (update safe).
