    I tried to update the plug-in this morning and was unsuccessful.  I received a “update failed” notification.

    Now my plug-in is gone from my dashboard, isn’t in the plug-in directory, and I get “[connections category='2' order_by='first_name|SORT_ACS' width='615']” when I load the page.

    I tried to reinstall the plug-in but couldn’t.  Wordpress gives me an error message stating the the folder already exists and it cannot install.

    We are running the 2012 theme on 3.5.1.

    Connections is still in the Plugin Directory. For some reason the plugin upgrade failed. My first guess would be that the memory allocated to PHP was exhausted. Here’s a link to a great blog post on several ways to increase the value.

    To be able to re-install Connections, you’ll have to log in to your site with FTP and delete the connections folder in the ../wp-content/plugins folder. After that folder is deleted, you’ll be able to re-install Connections.
