GuestThe images seem to be loading fine in Firefox, but do not load in Chrome or Safari. The loading circle loops infinitely. I’m not 100% sure of the differences between how these browsers process javascript, but if you know what could be wrong I would very much appreciate the help!
Thank you.

Please try force/hard refreshing the browser. If you’re using a caching plugin, please empty the cache.

GuestThanks for the fast response. I have tried force refreshing and clearing the caches and viewing from multiple devices. I do not have any plugins that cache anything. Interestingly the photos will load on the first load in Chrome, but will not load after a refresh. It also loads fine in mobile versions of chrome for iphone and ipad, but not in the mobile version of safari. Thanks!

The issue you’re experiencing isn’t Connections related, well, sort of, but not really yet. The theme or another plugin is loading jQuery 1.9 instead of the version bundled with WordPress. This is a very poor practice because this will cause a problem for many plugins, including Connections because the code depends on the version of jQuery that is bundled with WordPress. jQuery 1.9 removed a function that Connections uses to show the loaded images rather than the spinner. I do need to update that code because it is likely the next version WordPress will come with jQuery 1.9.
So what’s the solution, if you grant me a temp admin account I’ll make edit to Connections to completely remove the spinner.

GuestThat would be awesome thanks, rather than post the info here, can you please send me an email at REMOVED?
Thanks again!

I did one better. I wrote a quick and simple plugin that makes sure the default version of jQuery is used. Now all is fixed.
