Updated the plugin connections and returned with cache and connections_images not writable. It asks for 755, which the items are already set at. So I changed them to 777 and did the update. Everything okay afterward, changed perms back to 755, and after refresh comes back with “not writable” and to change to 755 (which it is already set at) What can we do? Do not want to leave the items at 777.
Two other things to try…
Move the image out of the folder, delete the folder, re-create it and then set the permissions and move the images back in.
If that doesn’t work try these permissions, in order, until one works:
Permissions 767 would be the most permissions I would have on a folder, never 777.
One of those should do the trick.
