GuestWe are using the Connections plugin with the Circled template and the Avada theme. When you view an organization profile:
- “Directory of Businesses” is at the top of the page as an H1
- “Directory of Businesses” is the page title.
- “Directory of Businesses” is the meta title.
- “Directory of Businesses” is the meta description.
Instead, we want to have the name of the vendor (organization) as each of those. We had Connections > Settings > SEO all selected, then all deselected but there was no change.
This is impacting our SEO and we’d love to correct it.
Thanks

GuestOH, and we are using Yoast’s SEO plugin as well. I did not see a meta template for business listings in there.

Leave all options enabled on the SEO settings admin page.
It sounds like something is either removing or preventing the filters which modify the the page meta/title from running. I have Avada (older version) and Yoast which does work just fine. Perhaps there is a change in Avanda or some other conflict.
First, please try the conflicts checks:
Let me know what you find out.

GuestIt appears to be a theme conflict. When I switch to the TwentyFourteen theme, the title display correctly as per the Connections SEO settings.
I did not move on to try plugin conflicts.
Do you know if there are settings within Avada that can interfere? When I look at blog posts, for example, they are showing the title structure that I would expect (and want).

None that I am aware of. The older version I have works fine so they must have made a change. If you can give me a copy for testing. I can track down and probably add a compatibility fix (assuming this is something I can fix from my side).
