After using Excerpt Plus I know the value of pagination and page limits, but the client wants a specific layout we can only acheive with the default card template. Is there any way we can get page linits on the default template? Happy to pay for it. Thank you.
I think I would suggest the cMap template. It has a layout very similar to the Default template. The Template Customizer can be used to change the color to match. I think this would be a good inexpensive solution. WOuld that work for your client?
The client really likes the Excerpt to show on the main directory page. That’s why we used Excerpt Plus originally. Can you ballpark a cost and time frame for the pagination? This will let them make a decision about going back to Excerpt Plus (Which had some customization issues) or keeping what they have and paying to get pagination.
Sorry, I am not really following what you’re asking for. The Excerpt Plus template already support pagination and is on by default. Or, are you asking for pagination on the Default Template? Could you please give more detail?
My suggestion is the same as before, to use cMap. But the bio would be in the bio content tray instead “out in the open” which is how the Default template does.
